Character

Name: Elie (Real name: Resha Valentine)
Fandom: Rave Master/Groove Adventure Rave
Gender: Female
Age: Looks to be 16-18, actual age is largely unknown.
Time Period: Before going to Stellar Memory to confront Lucia.
Wing Color: From white at the base gradiant into neon hot pink.
History: She gets kidnapped a lot but kicks ass, shit gets real, she's actually Resha, and then she and Haru admit they love each other THE END.

But if you want some summaries of what happens in the course of her adventure, I suppose I can link this. Most of the arcs have linked summaries of the chapters/anime episodes which are close enough in story to the manga. I'll summarize what happened in the latter part:

Later on, once they all reach the Symphonia continent, they find that Symphonia is no longer standing. The group finds later on what had happened, of course. Between fighting Blue Guardian, getting a neat new weapon for Elie, and saving Let's homeworld, part of the group is sent back into the past by a Raregroove! It's here that they find out that Elie is actually Resha Valentine, the creator of the Rave stones, and find that she had been sealed away in sleep. It wasn't until not long before she had met Haru that she had woken up.

After coming back they have an encounter with Lucia, who pretty much says "come fight me or watch the world die by Endless ok?" It's the night before they set out to fight Lucia at Stellar Memory does Elie appear in Luceti.
Personality: Elie, despite not knowing anything to who she was for the longest time, is a very upbeat girl. While searching for her past was a big part of her personality for a long time, it took a backseat to her wanting to be with her friends and making new memories there as well. While Elie is the token Girl To Kidnap, she can hold her own in those situations and will do anything she can to get out of the situation and find Haru looking to spring her from her captors halfway out to the exit.

Speaking of Haru, Elie has a ridiculous bond with him and would do anything to help him after he had helped her so much. After their initial meeting, he told her he would find out who she was without question. While she might not be too quick to trust people, Haru is very much an exception. Their bond is part of who she is in the end, and what gives her a lot of her strength to do things she probably wouldn't have thought to do from before he met her.

Elie is also protective of her friends to a degree; she would rather jump into a fight with them than hang back and let them do the work without her. While she had already been very much the helper, being with Haru made her moreso of one. Seeing people who need help makes her want to spring into action. To this effect she's slightly empathetic. When Shiba saw her after his fight with Haru, she had no problems in letting him hold her because she reminded him of Resha (though he figured it out that she really was Resha in the end.) Elie is just that type of person: the type that just wants to help everyone so they all have a smile on their face. When Haru talks about how he doesn't want anyone else to die and that he wants everyone to be there with a smile when everything is over, it's Elie who tells him that everyone wants the same thing.

There's also the really, REALLY liking money part of her. In their travels when they find a casino, she's running into it before anyone else can react. It's probably how the group gets their traveling money up until they meet Ruby who has a disposable income. Elie has incredible luck and kindasorta exploits that to win.

Because of her past life so to speak, Elie also really loves to dance. As Resha that was the one thing that she really loved to do. Anything that would include dancing? Elie is there. A lot of her traits can be traced back to her being Resha, including her wanting to help. Wanting to save everyone from Sinclair and the power it held drove her to completing the Rave stones. This same trait traces back to her wanting to help her friends, and consequently, everyone in the world (though Haru's determination and the fact that she really really likes him kind of helps there too.)

Strengths: While not physically strong, Elie can hold her own in a fight. She fights with Tonfa blasters, and later on gets this really neat magical staff that helps her use her Etherion power. Etherion is what created the Rave stones, and is an immense power that can even harm Endless (it was in part what sealed it, iirc.) Using the staff she finds in the first battle with BG, she's able to focus Etherion into a tangable form and use it as magic.

Her abilities with Etherion include being able to repel magic, being able to unleash some really crazy large blasts, and being able to concentrate in smaller blasts of Etherion. While her opponent thought she wouldn't be able to concentrate on using it while she was angry, she proved him wrong in being able to and even tag-teamed with Haru to harm him.

Also worth noting is that she's really good at dancing and she highly enjoys it. She's most likely in pretty good physical condition from fighting, traveling, and dancing.

Mentally she's really good at gambling! Ok no, that comes in part with the really weird luck she has. Her mental strengths tie in with her emotional strengths; though the longer she travels with Haru and their ever-growing group, she grows stronger in these. It doesn't take long for her to get her resolve up once she puts her mind to something. Usually this resolve is to fight instead of run. Once she can talk herself up to something, she's usually at peace with it. When she's told that she'll disappear once their journey is over, during the dance contest she starts to get upset over it. Once the music starts and she starts to dance, she makes up her mind that she won't be sad and will be content with everyone remembering her.

At the end of the manga when she has to seal Endless (and Haru with it) she's coerced to do so, but her mind is made up that she needs to, as much as she doesn't want to.

Weaknesses: Physically, well, she's human. A human with some pretty cool abilities and powers, but still human. She can be killed, hurt, and pushed around. She's not as strong as her male counterparts. She's strong enough to weather shooting her Tonfa blasters, but actual explosions and blasts will knock her back.

Using Etherion for an extended period of time will seriously tire her out, and because it takes a great amount of concentration in order to use, it's wholly possible for her to mess up and instead destroy large areas. It's hinted that her ability, if not focused on correctly, can destroy their world at large.

Again, the mental weaknesses tie in with the emotional: near the beginning when she wasn't sure what Etherion even was and Sieg Hart had pretty much beaten the crap out of her and was ready to kill her... Elie was ready to die. Even with Haru's ever optimistic I'LL SAVE HER she was even pleading Haru to off her, just so she wouldn't destroy everything with the Etherion that was threatening to explode from her. Elie does have her low points, some that she or anyone else can't even talk herself up from. Most come from the fact that she can't remember anything, or things come back in bits and pieces, or that she doesn't know why she's doing something. This mainly stops when she learns of her past and that she had been Resha the entire time, but other things, such as having to sacrifice Haru in the end, are not things she can talk herself up from. In fact, once that battle is over, Elie lost her memory again. Whether it was voluntary or the event was too traumatic for her to process isn't ever explained, but either can be possible.
