[Good evening, Luceti! Is anyone hungry? Yes? Good! Because anyone in Seventh Heaven tonight eating is in for an amazing surprise.

In the evening hours, a New Feather arrives inside the building. However, she's not in any area that anyone would normally be looking at. No, Elie is on the ceiling, whether it be on a ceiling beam or just a Malnosso-induced Shift, she's there sleeping away.

First, her shiny new Luceti journal clatters to the floor, and Elie shifts, unintentionally loosing herself from where she was. When she's suddenly falling, it's then that she opens her eyes and WOAH WAIT WHY AM I FALLING AAAAAH

Does she fall on people? A table? Food? All of the above? Either way, whether she realizes she can do it or not, her wings spread out and slow her fall. Somewhat. As she yells her way down to a crash.

Lucky for her, her journal picks it all up, including what comes next.]

Ow!! What the heck?! How did I even get up that high?! When I find out who played this prank on me, they're getting blasted in the face!

[Right, because that's more important than seeing if she's ok first. Or if she even has her tonfas. Or why she's in a weird dress that is totally not her, or even the fact that she has wings.]

[Ilyana was unfortunate enough to be at the table beneath Elie. She had initially blinked in surprise when a journal fell from the ceiling, fall open next to her plate of chicken, stir-fry, and rice. Of course, just as she was about to look up to see what caused it, Elie came crashing down right onto her dinner, making Ilyana wince.]

Umm... miss? You landed on my dinner...

[It was almost enough to make the poor starving lightning mage cry.]

[Aww snap, there's a voice Haru recognizes very well! He's definitely happy to hear her voice, that's for sure.]

[... and here's Elie.]

Stop making such a commotion.

[Elie falls on this worker, and manages to send a beef bowl he'd just finished flying away. Nice job... :|]

[Money. Usually. Elie had started to go for her money but... nothing. Not even her normal clothes were on. Y'know, where money would be.]

Wh-where'd my money go? For that matter, who undressed me and took my clothes!

[It was Haru! But... where was Haru? ]

Haru...? Where are you?

[First she heard Haru, now Shuda? Ok, they had to be the ones who pranked her. 8| why else would they not be around be she was able to hear them?]

It was you, wasn't it? You're the prankster!

[Elie-logic at its finest.]

[Don't blame her, man, blame the Malnosso. At least her fall was broken! ...as long as she didn't break his neck. Whoops.

She'll stare after the beef bowl for a moment and then realize that she's on a person. Elie scrambles up and offers a hand up.]

That's okay... the food is free here because there is no currency... it's just that I've been waiting so long for it to finish.

[She looks up at Ellie with a sigh.]

I would ask if you have any snacks on you, but since you're obviously a new feather, I suppose that would be a no...

Hang on, Elie! I'll be right there, so don't move! [He's not wasting anytime at all, hopping out the door of his apartment as he tries to pull on his boots.

He doesn't even know where he's going yet.]

Ah, no, sorry. But we don't have money here? [That. That is a sin right there.] How does that even work?

[...Luceti? Never heard of it. Doesn't sound familiar either.] Where exactly is this... Luceti place we're in? Doesn't sound familiar to me.

[...Oh. Oh no. Souji what is up with your clothes. Elie will eye them, sort of... tuning him out there for a moment. While she's not a super fashionista, she definitely knows what should go with what, and that... that does not go together.]

Well... most of the necessities of life are provided for us, so people just do things like cooking for others because they want to. I'm still not really used to it either.

[She was almost tempted to try eating it off of Elie's back... but she wasn't sure if that was some kind of taboo.]

But I suspect the reason you've never heard of it, is because it's in a different world entirely. I myself hail from Tellius, but most people I've met have never heard of it.

[Why is he the only mature adult around?]

...Except a moment later, he speaks to her on the journal again.]

Nope, never heard of where you're from. Interesting. Didn't think I was going to another world when I went to sleep. [Headscratch.] Does... that explain the other weirdness in wings? That is what is on my back, isn't it...?

[Unconsciously, they flutter out, dropping some of the food that had been stuck to them. Uh.]

[pff-- she didn't think he did.]

I'm in a restaurant it looks like-- smells like it, too. Then again, I fell into food so I kinda smell like dinner now.

[She'll be on the side of maybe sort of believing him. For the moment.]

I dunno, you could have done all that while I was asleep. But fine, what situation? Did you fall from a ceiling into food too?

Something else could have gone with the clothes under your jacket. Or at least a different colour. [Armfold.] That's all right I guess, not everyone has a good sense of style.

Here... let me help you with that.

[Ilyana stood up to help brush the food off of her... and to steal a few pieces of chicken that didn't look completely inedible, or covered in feathers.]

When each of us arrives here, we're given a pair of wings... I think I remember someone saying it had something to do with the scientists that run the place, or that the former locals all had wings... Maybe it's their way of trying to integrate us into their society?

I myself have a pair of white wings... but I usually keep them under my shirt.

No, but I'm stuck here just like you are. Wherever you think this is, it definitely isn't. It isn't even in our world.
