[Elie has been quiet lately, though her mind hasn't. There needed to be something to spice up this place. Something fun. And in her thoughts for that, something came to her: a dance off. Something that she wouldn't be competing in, but it would be fun for everyone else who would want to try, right?

So with a giant smile, Elie turns on the video feed.]

Hiya Luceti! And hi to all the new people - there are new people here now, right? - I'm Elie, and I have proposal to make! It's been kinda quiet around here lately, so I've been thinking aaaaand I came up with something we can all do: A DANCE-OFF! Someone could probably make a stage or something in the Battle Dome to compete on, but I'd still need a couple of judges and prizes, and... people to dance.

But!! You don't have to dance with someone else, you can dance by yourself! Orrrrr maybe you'd prefer to dance with two other people? Maybe three? That's fine too! I won't be competing but I need something fun here.

Would anyone be interested? You alllllll know you want to say "Yes of course I am, Elie!" If there's enough interest, I'll definitely plan out what day it should be, prizes, and judges!

Can people come and watch?

[A dance-off. That catches Ginia's attention. There's a nostalgic pang as she thinks about her years dancing for Davenport's dance company. Who knows where she could be if she had stuck with it.]

What kind of dancing are we talking about?

Of course! Have to have an audience to see how they like them too, you know.

Any kind is fine. I mean, if you only know how to do one kind of dancing, it wouldn't be fair to single people out if they don't know the one you want.

I'd like to come then! I like music, but I'm not good at dancing at all.

[It could be fun to watch. Ginia knows she's too old to compete and it's bee years since she's danced. Sure, occasional ballroom dancing for a job and there had been tango lessons in Argentina, but those didn't count.]

I wouldn't mind being a judge. Danced twelve years with a dance company when I was younger.

You totally can! Cheer people on, learn some moves maybe! Even if you don't know how, you can still kind of dance while watching, you know?

That would be fun!

Nice to meet you, Rue! Maybe eventually I can give dancing lessons, so if this happens again you can compete and wow everyone too?

What kind of dancing do you like to do?

Not yet. Kinda hard when you don't pay for anything here so nothing is really "I want that!" you know?

Wellllll I can do anything, really! It's all fun to me. I mainly just move to whatever music is playing, but I end up dancing anyway.

And when you can't leave this place, it's a little hard to give away something like a vacation package.

[Ginia's pen taps against the journal as she thinks on possible prize ideas.]

I'm pretty new so I don't know people very well, but maybe people would be willing to donate time and services for prizes? Like a "one hour cooking lesson for you and a friend" sort of thing.

How long have you been dancing?

I'll pass. [Nope. No dancing for him. He knows better. Shuda beat it into his head that he is a terrible dancer beyond redemption.]

[oh... that's actually a hard question to answer. It would be kind of weird for her to answer "at least 50!" because uh... she don't look that old, but cryo-sleep-like shenanigans make that one a possibility. But Elie doesn't want to brain-break this kid.]

For about as long as I can remember, so probably since I was really small.

I guess you could, but I dunno if anyone would want to go out to the mountains right now, and there would probably have to be a cabin or something out there too.

[That idea sounds good though, but she'd definitely need to make some connections too.]

Maybe, that could work! I'll have to talk to some people, see what I can get!
